I’m drawn to the moments that catch people off guard. The way a father looks at his daughter. The quiet just before a ceremony. A speech that lands harder than anyone expected.

There aren’t many days where all your family and friends are in the same place. What interests me is everything happening at once, the small moments, the overlaps, the things you don’t notice until later.

I’m always looking for the photo that says the most. The kind that holds more than one story at once, and gives you something new every time you come back to it.

When it comes to portraits, I’m still looking for something real. Sometimes it’s completely candid. Sometimes I shape the light, the setting, and the composition so the moment can happen in the best possible way. It’s a chance to play, be artistic, and create something distinctive, but it still comes back to presence, connection, and helping you feel at ease enough to forget the camera.
