Go out with a sparkle - how to organise the perfect sparkler exit for your wedding

A sparkler exit is a spectacular way for the bride and groom to depart their wedding; it’s a lot of fun for the guests and it photographs beautifully. However, it can often turn into a race against time to get all the sparklers lit before some start to burn out. So, a few key tips are…

- Have guests form two lines, holding their large, unlit sparklers. - Ask two reception attendants to light every 3rd or 4th persons sparkler using a blow-torch style lighter (available form $2 shops). The guests can then turn to their neighbour, and pass on their flame. This is the key to ensuring that all the sparklers are burning at once.

Happy sparkling…
